Author is Mark V. Wiley. This book is a good reference book for students of the filipino martial artist as well as other
students from other styles who wishes to know more about the Filipino Martial Arts - that it is not just `stick fighting`.
The book goes into the history of the arts as well as some write ups of some of the `styles` and praticioners of the arts.
I personally enjoy this book and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in the martial arts in general.

This book is one of the first book that ever came out covering one of many `styles` of the Filipino Martial Arts. And I`m sure one of the first, if not, the first book anyone owned regarding this Asian art. The book is basic and easy to follow
which is great for beginners. The book is written by a well known and well travelled man that goes by to many "Professor" Remy Presas. The book covers some single, double stick and de cadena basic drills. While this book is good for what it is, the Professor
is due in my opinion for a third more advanced book. All in all a good starter.
