TAOMA - Tiger Academy of Martial Arts is pleased to announce the opening of our new location. We will be housed in the
same location as the Comox Valley Boxing Club run by amateur boxing coach Lloyd Anderson along with his assistant
coach Gary Seal. The address of the Comox Valley Boxing Club and Tiger Academy of Martial Arts is:

TAOMA and instructors Ed Ursulom and Dave Grove have been operating as a home base club teaching on a private and semi-private
basis for the last 5 years.
Due to many inquries as to who we are and what we do and where we are located we are happy to have decided to be more
accesible to the public.
The main function of the club will be promoting and teaching the Filipino Combatiive Martial Arts of KOMBATAN which
is an art created by Grandmaster Ernesto Presas Sr. This art or style encompasses Modern Mano-Mano, Modern Arnis de Mano, daga and other lesser Filipino weapons as well
as Grandmaster Ernesto Presas personal style of dumog.
Also we teach to a lesser extent boxing/kickboxing and elements of wing chun and karate with our main emphasis on self defense.
Class schedules and prices are as follows:
ADULTS (16 yrs & up)
DAYS: Tuesdays, Thursdays
TIME: 8 pm - 10 pm
COST: $35 with paid membership $45 non-membership
CHILDREN (4 yrs - 9 yrs) (10 yrs - 15 yrs)
DAYS: Wednesdays, Fridays
TIME: 5 pm - 6 pm, 6:15 pm - 7:15 pm
COST: $25 with paid membership $35 non-membership
Membership Fee: $75 Canadian Dollars for 2 years
